Squarespace Refresh : AI Vision Video
On OCT 4, in their annual Squarespace Refresh, the Squarespace team shared their latest feature releases as well as announced some features that are coming soon. It’s a great summary of 2023 and what’s to come in 2024.
However, the most memorable moment was a Vision Video mapping out the future of AI with Squarespace. AI for web design + development is a massive disruption and I am 100% here for it!
Over time, AI will undoubtedly reduce the price of design + development services for creative entrepreneurs as less design iterations and less code will be needed to achieve your wildest dreams.
Either working independently or with a skilled designer, the time and effort needed to create and manipulate designs to achieve your aesthetic will be reduced significantly. This reduction in labor, and therefore cost, will reduce the barrier to entry allowing more small business owners to have access to designs and assets that showcase their products and services with more polish and cohesion from Day 1.
